Tinley Park, IL Fishing Show, Still the Best Show Around

CONTRIBUTED STORY – Twenty-three years in progress and still the most affordable fishing show in Northern Illinois, the Tinley Park Fishing and Outdoor show will be held on Saturday and Sunday, February 13-14, 2016.

This is an affordable exhibitor show where the entire family can attend at a great price. Admission to the show is $6.00 for adults, $5.00 for seniors, and $4.00 for kids age 7 to 13; little anglers age 6 and under are free. Held each year at the Tinley Park High School, this show offers over 180,000 square space of exhibitor space and has ample free parking.
Exhibitors from several states come to this show to sell just about everything made for fishing and outdoor fun. There are vacation resorts represented from Canada to Kentucky, fishing guides from throughout the Midwest, Fishing clubs and outdoor organizations, tackle companies and manufacturers, and charter-fishing trips can be booked for the Great Lakes in Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana and Ohio.

In addition to the great exhibitors, there will be fishing seminars and demonstrations. This year anglers can sit in on specie- specific seminars for crappie, bass, walleye and musky.

On the stage again, Strictly Archery will be setting up a target range on the main stage for attendees to test their shooting skills. Also again this year there will be a silent auction where you will be able to bid on a trip of a lifetime, along with many other great items.

The Tinley Park Athletic Booster Club puts together what is now known as one of the largest outdoor shows in the greater Chicagoland area. The Tinley Park Fishing and Outdoor Show supports all of the student athletes at the Tinley Park High School. With a show that draws literally thousands of visitors, the big shows are taking notice.

Adding to the show’s success is the support given from sponsors like Plano Molding, Frabill, Cabela’s, Bettenhausen Motor Sales, Chauncey’s Great Outdoors, Lowrance Electronics, and RagasMedia Designs and Production. The hard work and dedication from the parents and the students is what pulls this show together; their selfless efforts bring exhibitors and visitors back year after year.
